Galvanized sheet:

I. Concept

Galvanized steel plate is to prevent the surface of steel plate from being corroded and prolong its service life, and a layer of metallic zinc is coated on the surface of steel plate. This zinc-coated steel plate is called galvanized plate.

II. Classification and use

According to the production and processing methods, it can be divided into the following categories:

A) Hot-dip galvanized steel sheet. Immerse the steel sheet in a molten zinc bath, so that a layer of zinc is adhered to its surface. At present, it is mainly produced by continuous galvanizing process, that is, the rolled steel plate is continuously immersed in a galvanizing bath with molten zinc to make galvanized steel plate;

B) Alloyed galvanized steel sheet. This kind of steel plate is also made by hot dip method, but it is heated to about 500℃ immediately after it leaves the tank, so that it forms an alloy coating of zinc and iron. This galvanized sheet has good coating adhesion and weldability;

C) Galvanized steel plate. This kind of galvanized steel plate made by electroplating has good processability. However, the coating is thinner and its corrosion resistance is not as good as that of hot dip galvanized sheet.

D) Single-sided and double-sided galvanized steel plates. Single-sided galvanized steel sheet, that is, products that are galvanized only on one side. It has better adaptability than double-sided galvanized sheet in welding, painting, anti-rust treatment and processing. In order to overcome the defect that one side is not coated with zinc, there is another galvanized sheet coated with a thin layer of zinc on the other side, that is, double-sided difference galvanized sheet;

E alloy, composite galvanized steel sheet. It is a steel plate made of zinc and other metals, such as lead and zinc, or even composite plated. This kind of steel plate not only has excellent antirust performance, but also has good coating performance.

In addition to the above five kinds, there are color galvanized steel plates, printed galvanized steel plates and PVC laminated galvanized steel plates. But at present, hot-dip galvanized sheet is still the most commonly used one.

Galvanized steel plates can be divided into general use, roof use, building exterior use, structural use, white ridge use, stretching use and deep drawing use.
